Most everybody knows that Grand Rapids is Beer City USA. But did you know that Grand Rapids is also a great food destination? Thrillist declared it Michigan’s best food city. Tasting Table touts it as “one of the Midwest’s most legit culinary cities.” And WalletHub named it the second most affordable foodie city in America.
Some of the most creative, delectable and satisfying food in town is served in our craft breweries – places where the food is as big a draw as the beer. We’re showcasing eight of these boundary-busting breweries in our Beer City Eats video series.
While there’s no shortage of opportunities to enjoy craft beer in Grand Rapids any time of the year, Beer Month GR, which takes place February 15-March 15, is an open invitation to visitors and locals

It wasn’t easy to narrow down the list of 40+ Beer City Brewsader breweries to just eight. So we went to the experts – we asked our Instagram and Facebook followers to tell us which local breweries serve up the best grub. These eight came out on top:
